Selfie is a 2018 Russian drama film directed by Nikolay Khomeriki and starring Konstantin Khabensky and Feodor Bondarchuk. The story revolves around popular writer and TV presenter Vladimir Bogdanov, who is suddenly replaced by an absolute double. The imposter takes over Bogdanov's life, including his job, fame, wife, and mistress, and performs much better than the original. Only Bogdanov's daughter wants the real him back. The film is based on the novel Soulless of the 21st century. Selfie by Sergey Minaev. Esquire Russia featured Konstantin Khabensky's selfie on the cover of its February issue, making it the first time a Russian magazine published a selfie as a cover image.
