Saikano: The Last Love Song on This Little Planet is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shin Takahashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits from December 1999 to October 2001. The series follows the story of a young girl who is transformed into the ultimate weapon. It has been adapted into a 13-episode anime television series, as well as a live-action film adaptation. The series has been licensed for English release in North America.
