Humraaz is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic thriller film directed by the duo Abbas–Mustan. It stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna and Amisha Patel. The film is inspired from the 1998 movie A Perfect Murder. It was remade in Tamil as Girivalam. The story revolves around Karan and Priya who fall in love while leading a dance troupe. They participate in a dance audition for a chance to perform on the luxurious Singhania cruise. However, they face competition from Jojo Fernandes, the leader of another troupe who cheats to win. After a confrontation, Karan beats up Jojo unintentionally killing him. The film takes a thrilling turn as the characters deal with the consequences of their actions.
